Archive: a 2017 blockchain developer profile

This profile records my role as Blockchain Lead Developer at Skrumble Network in 2017. It is retained for historical context. Its original promotional language and statements about a future product are not current claims.

At the time, the work centred on decentralised communication and the use of blockchain concepts for identity, data exchange, and auditability. The original interview described how a chain of blocks can provide a traceable record and contrasted public blockchain transactions with private communication needs.

That distinction is still useful: a distributed ledger can provide a shared record, but it does not resolve every question about privacy, identity, permissions, operational recovery, or the incentives around a system. Those concerns need to be designed and tested in the application around the ledger.

I retain the profile as a record of a period of work in decentralised systems. It should not be read as evidence of a current product roadmap, a product outcome, or a present affiliation.
